Soleil Tans is seeking a Technical Problem Solver to own the operational health of our 6 high-end locations (Flemington, Middletown, Toms River, Edison, Sayreville, Matawan). We aren't looking for a general handyman; we need a detail-oriented technician with strong electrical aptitude to ensure our state-of-the-art tanning and spa equipment operates at peak performance.

Soleil Tans is a premier Luxury Sun Spa and is looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates clearly, and understands that maintenance plays a vital role in delivering the luxury Soleil experience.
Core Responsibilities:
1. High-Voltage Equipment Repair (The Priority)
- Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot complex issues in tanning units, including ballasts, starters, fans, relays, and communication wiring.
- System Integrity: Ensure T-Max timing systems and connectivity are functioning 100%.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute regular service checks to prevent downtime before it happens.
- Component Management: Replace lamps, acrylics, and filters with precision and care.
2. Electrical Troubleshooting
- Safely diagnose power-related issues within spa equipment.
- Perform basic wiring tasks (outlet replacements, lighting connections, signage power).
- Assess electrical risks and communicate clearly with management.
3. Facility Upkeep & Standards
- Maintain the "Luxury Look" of our lobbies and spa suites (paint, trim, shelving, cosmetic repairs).
- Handle minor plumbing tasks (fittings, sink blockages) and general facility improvements.
- Assist with store renovation projects or equipment moves as needed.
What We Need From You:
- Electrical DNA: You must have a strong understanding of basic electrical principles (multimeters, wiring, circuitry).
- Mechanical Aptitude: You can take things apart and put them back together without leftover screws.
- Autonomy: You are self-motivated and can manage your own schedule across multiple locations.
- Professionalism: You are punctual, clean, and respectful when working in an active spa environment.
- Note: Experience repairing tanning beds is a huge plus, but if you have the electrical chops, we can train you on the specific machines.
Logistics & Compensation:
- Schedule: Part-Time (Flexible 10–20 hours/week).
- Travel: Required between our 6 NJ locations.
- Tools: Must provide own basic tools; specialty parts supplied by Soleil.
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on technical experience.
